CLEVER Global, a Spanish multinational technology services company based in Seville, this week presented the first ‘Hack-A-Ton’ event in collaboration with the Salesianos de Triana school (Seville).

The aim of the Hackathon is to promote among the students of Higher Vocational Training of this center a first practice of programming based on a real situation. In this case, it is about the development of a multiplatform mobile application that solves a raised challenge.

The participants will create an app from scratch, they should show their programming skills, as well as their ability to work as a team, generate and develop innovative ideas to solve the challenge. They will do so both individually and as a group, and will compete with each other for the final prize.

Since the presentation, a lot of interest has been generated by the students, raising interesting questions and beginning to show their imaginative capacity.

The reception of projects will be open between December 20, 2017 and January 12, 2018. All those who enter the contest will be studied and evaluated before January 31, 2018, the feast of San Juan Bosco.
